"The Chesapeake Bay has always played an important part in my family's lives. We had a home on the Bay for many years where we enjoyed kayaking, sailing, motor boating, fishing, and crabbing (the old-fashioned way with a string, some bait, and a net). Now my grandchildren live on the Lynnhaven River where they do these things, in addition to harvesting oysters. CBF has played a major role in educating my family on ways in which we can protect and preserve the Bay. I currently live near the Potomac River, and CBF has offered suggestions and support for projects to help clean up our watershed area. I am thankful that we have a hands-on organization which assists interested citizens who are concerned about our Bay. I want to support CBF so that the Bay will be here for future generations to enjoy as we have."
